About Passion for reggae
Passion for Reggae is a night of live, original music brought to you by Grenadian singer-songwriter, Patrick Roach. It is a music event designed by reggae lovers for reggae lovers and other music enthusiasts with a three-fold target: to entertain the local scene with quality, original reggae music, provide an avenue for Patrick Roach to showcase his music so that it becomes part of Grenada’s mainstream music as he grows in regional and international recognition, and to maintain regional connections through the support and development of other up and coming artists and bands.
Drawing inspiration from daily living, an audience will be entertained by his spin on lover’s rock reggae which tackles universal topics of motherhood, love, pride for country, and a bold outcry against social injustices heard in his 2022 release “Lies.”
The long-term goal is to move Passion for Reggae from the small stage to a larger one as part of Grenada’s yearly calendar of events, as a means of uniting people and fostering lasting relationships through music.
